MISCellaneous Distillery

At MISCellaneous Distillery, we make delicious, award-winning spirits using locally-sourced inputs. Our first product (Risky Rum) received a Gold Medal from the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making it the highest scoring American white rum. Last year, our Popi's Finest Rum and our Gregarious Gin received Double Gold awards, which is a unanimous Gold award from all judges! We continue to make Risky Rum, plus a range of products including Gertrude's 100% Rye Whisky, Dew Point Rum, and Brill's Batch Bourbon Whisky. At the 2019 American Craft Spirits Association Awards, we were awarded additional Silver Awards for Gregarious Gin and Popi’s Finest Rum, Bronze Award for our Vivacious Vodka... plus an Innovation Award for Gregarious Gin.

We partner with Carroll County farms and other Maryland-based businesses to make our products and build our communities. In lieu of charging for tours and tastings, we ask tasting room visitors for a donation which we pass along to non-profit partners.
