About

Dubuque Heritage Winery is focused on producing the highest quality wines made from cold climate grapes.  Our goal is to help build a regioal identity for the midwest, and Iowa in particular, for wine production based on quality and variety that can rival more traditionally well recognized wine making regions within the United States. Although very small, Dubuque Heritage winery is one of the most award-winning wineries in the state of Iowa. Dubuque Heritage Winery's award-winning wines prove that great wine can be, and is, being made in Iowa!

Production Practices

Dubuque Heritage Winery uses cold climate grapes and juice in raw form to produce award-winning wines. We do NOT use wine kits that you can purchase from your local home-brew store and produce yourself. If you have questions about wine production from real grapes and juice, as opposed to wine produced from "wine kits" please ask us!
