Montessori Gardens

We are Cypress Junction Montessori School in downtown Winter Haven serving students Pre-K through 8th grade. The fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students began in September tending to a community garden and planting our own transplanted vegetables. These students have truly blossomed into professional gardeners, tending to our crops every Friday and now beginning a new journey in our greenhouse on our school grounds. The Montessori method is all about learning practical life skills to give back to the community and that is just what we are doing by sharing our hard earned crops with the locals!
