I am a beekeeper. I am also the current v.p. of Tampa Bay Beekeepers Association. I was president in 2016 and 2017. I run about 100 hives in five appiaries. We keep the bees near Citrus Park Mall, near the Veterans and Erlich, by Avila, Dale Mabry and 54, and Westly Chappel. I also work with a couple of other beekeepers. We help each other pollenating farms. My main bussiness is raising bees for sale , or selling queens. We rescue bee from people's houses.

Production Practices
There is no such thing as organic honey in the United States. Bees are dieing. We try to use as little poisen as possible to help save the bees. We use oxolic acid to treat the bees for varoa mites. This is a natural poison found in spinach, rubar, and honey. We also use a treatment made from beer hops when we can. Some times we do have to use the State approved poisions. The point that I am trying to make is that we do are best to help the bees. I feed the honey to my kids.
