Permaculture Design
Veganic permaculture is a system of agriculture that does not rely upon animal based fertilizers, compost or manure. This system can only utilize 50% per square meter of soil. Jarvis Growers uses approx 30% per square meter. This practice insures that the soil's biotic community is not devastated, the nitrate levels don't drop and the soil pH is optimal. Veganic garlic tastes better because root crops, especially garlic which has contractile roots, absorb much more of the soil make up.
