About

Our Happy Hollow Ranch is a veteran operated and family-owned operation founded by my grandfather Chuck Howley after his illustrious career with the Dallas Cowboys during the Landry era. We are an 1800-acre ranch situated in East Texas on a piece of paradise about 20 min west of Canton, TX. We specialize in selling grass-fed beef certified by the American Grass-fed Association, Homegrown by Heroes, and Go Texan. We also have a high pedigreed program for breeding, training and selling registered AQHA quarter horses for rodeo, shows, and riding enthusiasts. Additionally, in October Happy Hollow Ranch will have the honor of being certified by Global Animal Partnership as a step 4 operation for our grass-fed cattle. I look forward to hearing from you all and hope we can have the opportunity to connect our community with a superior grass-fed/grass-finished beef product that’s natural and free from antibiotics, hormones, or GMO’s and humanely raised on pasture for the entirety of their life.

Manager

Brandon Howley
Brandon Howley (Chuck's grandson), was honorably discharged from the military, he rose to the occasion, taking the reins of the ranch operation from his grandfather to lead the family into the future. Today, the ranch continues to be managed by Chuck's grandson, Brandon Howley, who is supported by his wife Stefnie and daughter Nellie May. Brandon is whole-heartedly committed to Chuck's philosophy of reaching for greatness in every endeavor. This past year, Brandon began the process of rebuilding the ranch's high-quality Black Angus roots and is working towards revitalizing the quarter horse program with the addition of two new broodmares and four studs to the rotation. Brandon is hopeful for the future and looks forward to leading the ranch into its next phase of prosperity and growth.
