About
Cabin Girl was the name of our boat we use to live on and what really inspired our business. All of the bags we create are all one of a kind designs because each bag is made using scraps and remnant materials from jobs we worked on in our local boat shops. The fabric scraps come from when we are making people new yacht cushions, Bimini tops, awnings or sail repairs. We sew all our bags with the same marine grade thread and zipper used in the boats shops making our bags durable, weather resistant and long lasting, as well as one of a kind creations.

Erin & Lara Have been partners in life for 9 years and partners in business 3 years when they 1st created Cabin Girl Designs while living aboard their boat the "Cabin Girl". we truly put all of our love into each bag and love the good vibes we have rolling back our way when people send us photos of them wearing & taking their one of a kind bags on all type of adventures! We started CGD in Lara's home town of Carolina Beach, NC but look forward to our next relocation in November 2019 to St. Pete, FL!
