Farmer
Robin received her BFA in fashion design from Virginia Commonwealth University and MFA in metal/jewelry from Rochester Institute of Technology School for American Craft. At RIT she fell in love with the meditative process of hammering and its transference of energy. The textures and forms that she achieves while hammering are important design elements in her work. Robin works intuitively and draws inspiration from the rural setting of her studio to create her one of a kind fine art jewelry. Her interest in fashion continues with her hand dyed silk scarves. She custom mixes her colors and applies the dye using fabric manipulation and shibori techniques.
