RedBeard Knife & Wood is a small woodworking and knifemaking company based in Tampa, Florida. Founded in the fall of 2016, we make everything in our shop entirely from scratch, and entirely from solid hardwoods. In addition to our cutting boards (our biggest ticket item, aside from our knives), we make coaster sets, wine displays, shot flights, desk organizers, bottle openers, our own brand of cutting board wax, and even furniture. We currently have a number of stockists in both Lutz and St. Pete, and are looking to expand as much as we can.

Production Practices
We buy all of our lumber straight from the lumber mill, and mill all of our lumber entirely from scratch. We are a full-service woodshop, and do everything from design work, production, marketing, and distribution entirely in-house. In addition, our Official Cutting Board Wax is made entirely from 100% organic beeswax and 100% food-grade mineral oil.
We do not stain, paint, or dye any of our products, nor do we use any plywood, particleboard, or fillers of any kind. We are the real deal, and regularly produce custom furniture for discerning clients.

I'm a life-long Tampa resident, and when I'm not in my shop crafting beautiful things, I am at my computer pretending to be a writer and table-top game developer. I graduated from the University of South Florida with both a bachelor's and master's in creative writing, and even endured a brief stint as an English professor. I left the profession completely in the Spring of 2019 to further my woodworking career, and have never looked back.
