Marcelo Munoz
Marcelo, the owner of Mary's Empanadas, was born and raised in the picturesque port city of Valparaiso, Chile where delicious empanadas are served everywhere you go. They are a staple of the Chilean diet and Marcelo's passion is to share the favorite food of his homeland with the amazing people of his second home, Richmond, Virginia. Marcelo is a former student of CADIS culinary academy in Valparaiso, Chile and a former Restaurateur of Chipotle Mexican Grill. His priority is food safety, food quality, and customer satisfaction. Marcelo has his food cart in the financial district at 10th and Cary and loves what he does. He lives in Chesterfield with his wife and two children, Mary and Paolo.
