Begun in the fall of 2015, we have been an active vendor participant in a number of outdoor farmers markets in the Florida counties of Pinellas and Hillbourgh . We specialize in packaged baked goods which include Scottish shortbread, Scottish scones (with a wide variety of ingredients e.g., cranberry, blueberry, ginger), a wide variety of nutritious oatmeal based cookies (more than 20 varieties), lemon cookies, orange cookies, fruit tarts (more then 10 varieties), ginger snaps, chocolate chip (and various combinations thereof, e.g toffee, raisins, pecans) butterscotch cookies, gluten free almond cookies, peanut butter, lemon pound cake, gingerbread, linzer varieties, hand decorated artistic butter cookies, and seasonal favorites. Our baked goods are created in the Florida Chefs Workshop, which is a shared, commercial kitchen under the ownership of the fine quality catering firm, A Fresh Connection, located in St. Petersburg. FL. We do not use fillers, preservatives, or anything artificial, only pure natural ingredients.

Born and raised in Scotland, my Scottish grandmother's receipts form the basis of many of our baked goods ... have lived in a number of international locations, e.g Switzerland, Australia, England, where I acquired baking skills and ingredient preparation .... attended the London baking institute of Le Cordon Bleu . Our corporate name is A Hint of Lemon, Incorporated and our dba's are McTavish's Cookie Shack and/or McTavish's Highland Shortbread.
