My dad gave me my first SLR when I took a photography class in high school. I fell in love with the art form and have continued my journey since then. In 2007, I was asked to shoot a friend’s wedding, so I made the switch to a Digital SLR. I love to explore and capture the beauty that I find in the world. I have been fortunate to be able to travel and see amazing places and capture them on “film”. If I don’t have my camera with me, then I usually wish that I did. I focus mainly on landscapes/cityscapes and nature, forgetting that my hands are numb from the cold or focusing on the same tree for an hour and never getting the same shot twice. I love happy accidents and magic hour and places that bring tears to my eyes. I spend a lot of time wandering around always watching and observing, and I tend to get lost in whatever I am shooting.
