Francis Bean Coffee

Black Crow Coffee was originally the coffee vendor for the Corey Ave Sunday Market in St Pete Beach but due to other business commitments was unable to continue. I was offered the opportunity to start my own business and I jumped at the chance to start Francis Bean Coffee. I was a senior in high school last year when I began this venture, my parents helped me obtain all the necessary equipment and supplies along with vendor insurance. I have been regularly meeting with the Market Managers to better improve my set up and sales techniques. I have now affectionately been nick named "Coffee Kid" at the markets. I recently graduated from Countryside High School and will attend St Petersburg College and USF this fall to major in business. I was encouraged by both Black Crow and Gypsy Souls Coffee to create my own coffee label after I became established in the market this season, which I have completed. I have been purchasing the necessary items throughout the season with my income to be more prepared for the next season. I have met with Gypsy Souls who has given me training materials regarding the coffee blends, history of the various beans and all flavoring information so that I may be more informative to the customer.
