Trail Brew is offering Plant-Based, Vegan, Gluten and Caffeine-Free instant herbal beverages featuring Chinese tonic herbs and medicinal mushrooms. Our mission is to incentivize and support the first-ever local, regenerative farming of "Chinese" tonic herbs in Oregon. Trail Brew is currently networking with local and regional sources to phase out its imported ingredients with local, family-farmed, small-batch ingredients whenever possible. In our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we choose to produce our drink blends in a facility that is powered with 100% solar energy.

Production Practices

Our product is completely water-soluble, and so it is an instant hot beverage. All herbs and mushrooms are made into instant powders by pressure cooking the plants with a ratio of 10 parts water to 1 part plant material, and after it dries we end up with the most potent, concentrated and bio-available powdered extracts available.

Friends for over 12 years, we spend as much time as we can in the backcountry. After enjoying coffee on the trail for years, we started feeling our bodies craved something more nourishing than the jolt coffee was providing; and so we developed Trail Brew as a way to enjoy a drink with a similar deep, roasted, earthy flavor but which supports the glands and nervous system that caffeine can only stimulate (and often over-stimulate).
