After a successful career in the corporate IT world, I was looking for a change. Cooking has always been my creative outlet. I love buying fresh local organic produce at the farmers markets and creating delicious and healthy meals. Friends and family encouraged me to follow my passion for cooking. I saw a gap in the marketplace for fresh pesto – the few options available in stores may be loaded with inferior oils, preservatives, even sugar. Many have been heat processed which kills the fresh flavors. So, I decided to bring fresh pestos & other sauces to the local marketplace and Eat Scrumptious was born. I use fresh, premium ingredients – fresh herbs and cold-pressed extra virgin oils. Family not factory.
