By providing a direct marketing opportunity to farmers/growers/producers and by providing educational opportunities to consumers, 2022 12th Annual Manakin Market Holiday Farm & Craft Market helps sustain the regional farming economy and helps ensure the future of farming in Central Virginia. 2022 12th Annual Manakin Market Holiday Farm & Craft Market is conveniently located at 68 Broad Street Road in Manakin-Sabot, VA in the Eastern end of Goochland County. The market is adjacent to I-64 and Route 288, just five minutes west of Downtown Short Pump. Our 2022 Manakin Market Holiday Farm & Craft Market will be held at the same site as our seasonal market, under cover of two large marque tents. You may chose to bring your own tent with sides so that you have protection from wind and/or rain if your stall is located outside the marque. The marquees will be filled on a first come, first served basis, and Market Management will inform vendors where their stall is assigned to. The market will be held rain or shine. If vendors should instead choose to vend outside of the perimeter of the marquee, all canopies, umbrellas, and other forms of stall cover must be sufficiently and safely secured to the ground, from the moment the canopy is erected at the start of the market day until the moment immediately before it is taken down at the end of the market. If tents are inadequately secured, market management will ask the farmer/grower/producer to take it down and sell without it. Your application to participate in the 2022 Manakin Market Holiday Farm & Craft Market must be received no later than 11/27/22. Your application fee must be received prior to your application being considered, and must be received no later than 12/01/21. There is a $20.00 Application Fee and a $50 Acceptance Fee for the event. No additional fees will be collected for participation in this market. Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis. We have room for up to 33 vendors under the marques, and up to 15 outside(using your own tent). This is a rain or shine event and no fees will be refunded due to inclement weather. However, if you should send in your application and fee and we are already at capacity, your fee will be refunded. After your application is received, you will be invoiced immediately for the application fee.
