The purpose of the Daughter of the Stars Farmers Market shall be to promote health and wellness in Page County for residents and tourists through providing accessible local food options and education.
The timeframe of the market is tentatively 10am-2pm, however, this is still flexible if there is a better timeframe widely available for interested vendors.
Big Gem Park is 68-acre park with hiking/biking trails, a pond for fishing, playground equipment/swings, picnic tables, benches, and even a geo-cache. The park is perfect for individuals, families, and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

As an occupational therapy doctorate student, I’m really excited about this opportunity to provide an outlet for health and wellness while showcasing the natural beauty the town of Shenandoah/Page county have to offer! We are in the process of completing the applications to accept SNAP/EBT. After that is completed, we also plan to also join the Virginia Fresh Match, and WIC/senior programs.
